Art Education Project
Staring from 1999, Candy has been teaching in the "Summer Art Camp" every summer. The objective of this summer course is to arouse young people's interest for arts, discovering their own talents and doing creative works. In 2002, together with Comuna de Pedra dance company, they made tours to different high schools of Macao, performing short dance pieces and carried out discussion with the students.
Since 2005, Candy has been teaching in the summer arts courses at Macao Cultural Centre. As well as giving regular contemporary dance classes at the dance company, conducting workshops at primary schools, children hostel and community center.
Pre-Performance talk
Through vivid and amusing explanation, Candy gives pre-performance talk on the development and appreciation on modern dance.
Yoga Practice
● Candy Kuok is a Yoga Alliance (USA) registered yoga teacher (RYT200);
● Received the certificate of “Complementary Health Education Diploma in Yoga Teacher” , recognized by Britain and countries of Commonwealth of Nations
● Received the certificate of Yoga Instructor Course at Swami Vivekananda Yoga Ausandhana Samsthana (Deemed University), India
● Gives regular Hatha Yoga classes
